John Jacob has been working in the design and construction industries for over 50 years. John’s construction experience started in high school where he worked odd & end jobs for building contractors. When in college, he began doing concrete work and painting houses during the summer.John graduated from UW- Stout with a degree in Industrial Technology and continued his formal education at the University of Montana where he graduated with a Masters in Business.
After college, John and his family moved to Appleton, Wisconsin where he taught Construction and Architectural Design for the Appleton Area School District. Several years into his teaching career, he began remodeling homes and then building homes, and in 1982, he started his own company, Jacob Construction.
John has designed and built over 200 custom homes in the Fox Valley area. His homes have been showcased in the Fox Cities Magazine & other local publications. He also participates in the Valley Home Builders Association Parade of Homes where he delights the neighborhood with his inspirational designs. Designing and building dream homes for families in the Fox Valley is not only his expertise but also his life-long passion.
In 2013, John’s youngest daughter, Lindsey, joined the Jacob Team as the Office Manager. Lindsey has a degree in Business from Marquette University and previously worked for Kohl’s Department Stores in their Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Lindsey’s husband Guru Angisetty also graduated with a degree in Business from Marquette University. Guru is the CEO of IT company Link Ware Tech and serves as Jacob Construction’s technology advisor.
